Afterglow Raw Food Making Workshop & Lunch
Raw food has always been seen as the mecca of culinary skills as no heat or processed food is used to prepare the food.
It is an honest way of preparing food using only the freshest ingredients and playing with flavours and textures of seasonal produce.
In Afterglow’s Community Tuesdays series, we are launching raw food classes that will tease your taste buds and expand your creativity and vocabulary on how food is being made while upholding the integrity of the produce.
In the first series, we will be focusing on exotic Asian salads, think bold flavours with local spices and herbs that will excite your guests should you learn to whip up these exotic raw salads.
This will be a hands on session with Chef Shalu, who is one of the most renowned raw food chefs in South East Asia and graduated from prestigious Cordon Vert, UK's leading vegetarian cooking school. You will learn three different salads in the afternoon session and will be able to enjoy the complete dishes in house, or pack it to go.
